National Corvette Museum

Tim and the boys were in a wedding this past weekend in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The coolest part of the wedding was the rehearsal dinner, which was at the National Corvette Museum.

The dinner was literally right in the museum. They set-up tables and catered the dinners right in the biggest room.
The happy couple: John and Rachel.

Below was the favorite car of both Christopher and myself: the 53 Roadster.

I am putting one of those on my Christmas list.

The above wall mural consisted of all kinds of little pictures, below.

I wonder what you have to do to make the "enthusiast" hall of fame? Perhaps Jerry Goff's picture will be up there someday!

The boys got a kick out of the activity where you could lift the frame on a vet, showing how the newer frames are much lighter than the older ones.
After Christopher tried the activity, he felt the need to show-off his "guns."

Below, a crash test Corvette. The kids' favorite activity was the pit crew challenge, where they were able to try-out their pitting skills on a digital racecar.

The Corvette Museum Conference room. Rather cool.
