Christopher's ornament this year: a guitar that looks JUST like his!
John's ornament this year: a nutcracker. Ever since John saw "The Nutcracker" performed by the Cincinnati Ballet, he has been in love with nutcrackers. He has a collection of them, and now he has a nutcracker ornament.
And Anna's ornament this year: Minnie Mouse dressed-up as Santa Claus. No particular reason why. It just struck her fancy.
It's the same old tree we've had since we bought it at Garden Ridge the year Anna was born, but each year it grows sweeter to us with the special ornaments we add!

Mike and I still have our first Christmas tree. It is a 4' high tree that use to set on top of our TV in our mobile home. We bought it for $9.99 at Swallen's. Swallen's does not exist anymore but our little tree is still in good shape. Was thinking about getting rid of it this year. But, now I am rethinking that. Might just keep it forever.....
ReplyDeleteI love it! We're going to keep our Garden Ridge tree as long as we possibly can. Last year a strand of the lights (it's a pre-lit tree) wouldn't work but we still kept it.
